Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg was born on December 18, 1946, he is a Director, Producer and a  Screenwriter however he is mostly known for his director roles producing some of the best ever films.
Steven Spielberg is a three-time Academy Award winner, he has earned two Oscars for Best Director and Best Picture for Schindler's List and a third Oscar for Best Director for Saving Private Ryan. schindlers list and saving private ryan also happen to be two of my all tiem favourite movies. Spielberg is arguably the most financially successful motion picture director of all time, this has given him enormous influence in Hollywood.
Saving Private Ryan was a massive hit due to Speilbergs role, he casted Tom Hanks as the main character which was the best choice along with many other stars playing his team during the war. he showed the chemistry between the characters and showed how unity can get you through any situation. he has changed the way directors think and has become undoubtedly one of the most influential film personalities in the history of film.

The Davinchi Code

The davinchi code is directed by ron howard who was born in Oklahoma on 1 March 1954. The visuals are stunning, the acting of Hanks and Tautou is great in this movie,  I felt the emotional connection between them. I left the cinema feeling satisfied, because a great book had been turned into a really good film. the storyline im this movie is outstanding as the conspiracy fills your mind with all sorts of ideas, is their a bloodline? we dont ahve the answers to these questions and that is what makes this movie brilliant. Ron Howard has done a birlliant job directying this movie and the storyline has really inspired me in being creative and to think about things from all angles and perspectives.

I Am Legend

I Am Legend is directed by Francis Lawrence, Francis Lawrence was born in Vienna, March 26, 1970. He has directed many great fils such as Constantine (2005). The thing that make shtis movie great for me is will smith, his role in I Am Legend is key as without him the movie would not be as bgi as it is today. He is the driving force of I Am Legend. His performance as Dr. Robert Neville is impeccable. the wayhe acted this movie out reminded me of the movie Cast Away and the way Tom Hanks made the character hsi own and made the movie great. The movie falters a bit at the end, maybe at the last 5 minutes, but it doesn't ruin the plot or acting put forth. Containing wonderful cinematography.

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight is directed by Christopher Nolan who was born in London in 1970, Christopher Nolan began making films at the age of seven using his father's super 8mm camera and a collection of male action figures. He graduated to making films involving real people. Dark Knight really appealed to me because of the action and storyline, the film was both a enthrauling comic book movie aswell as a thrilling crime movie.
Heath Ledger's role in this movie is epic, he plays the joker as if he were him in the real world. making the character is own, this is not easy to do and takes alot of hard work but Heath Ledger perfected this and played one of the greatest roles of all time in my opinion.
I think some of the best scenes in this movie are:

In this scene the joker performs the dissapearing pencil trick. The Joker sticks a pencil in the desk, with the pointed end up and tells the mob bosses in the conference room that he is gonna preform a magic trick and make the pencil disappear. The group of mob bosses think it's a joke, so they send a man to go beat him up and stop waisting their time. The Joker calmly watches the man come after him and slams the man's head down into the pencil. When the dead body slides off the table the pencil is fully inside of the man's head; thus the pencil disappeared. This was significant because the Joker predicted that the mob boss was gonna send one of his men after him when he mentioned the 'magic trick'. By killing the man with the pencil and making the pencil disappear he kept his word, creeped out the mob bosses, and showed them that he could predict their movements in the traditional joker fashion.
